Neil Kaplan has joined the company as senior vice president of Operations; Greg Isaacs has been named vice president, Incubation; and Sumant Sridharan assumes the role of vice president, Marketing.

As senior vice president of Operations, Neil Kaplan oversees day-to-day business operations for Vantage. Neil has launched numerous successful Web businesses, taking them from start-up to tens of millions of dollars in revenue in rapidly changing, highly competitive consumer environments. In his 20-year career, Neil has specialized in the migration of consumers and revenue from traditional media to new media. Before joining the Vantage team, Neil held leadership positions in management, marketing, sales and strategy with Internet Brands, Universal Studios, The Los Angeles Times and Bain and Company.
In the role of vice president, Incubation, Greg Isaacs is responsible for incubating and launching new initiatives for Vantage Media, drawing on his extensive experience in managing many facets of business and technology. Greg comes to Vantage Media from LeadPoint, the leading online lead generation exchange, where he was vice president and general manager, Marketplaces. Prior to LeadPoint, Greg was the director of eBay's Developers Program and was responsible for making eBay the largest and most innovative global Web services platform. His accomplishments earned him a place on CNN/Business 2.0's "50 People Who Matter" list for 2006. Prior to joining eBay in 2001, Greg was a technology investment banking analyst and associate for Prudential Securities and Thomas Weisel Partners.
As vice president, Marketing, Sumant Sridharan oversees all marketing initiatives including corporate branding, public relations, portal strategies, and new verticals. Prior to Vantage, Sumant was a member of the leadership team of Oversee.net, where he led product marketing and development and was subsequently named general manager for the company's travel and social networking businesses. Over the last 12 years, Sumant has held leadership positions in online marketing, product management and technology with companies like Yahoo!, The .tv Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard. Sumant began his career in management consulting leading large-scale systems implementations with Ernst & Young.

Vantage Media has acquired Secure A Quote, a lead generation company focused on the insurance sector. Secure A Quote works with insurance carriers, agencies and insurance brokers to generate consumer leads. Currently, Secure A Quote provides leads for consumer health insurance, but it will soon expand into life insurance and other segments of insurance. Jon Engleking and Steve Curry, the founders of Secure A Quote, will join the Vantage management team as managing directors of Secure A Quote.

Vantage Media topped the list of the fastest growing companies in Los Angeles and surrounding counties as recognized by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. The Los Angeles Technology Fast 50, an annual award program, ranks technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies located in Los Angeles and surrounding counties by percentage revenue growth over five years. Companies are selected based on percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002 to 2006. Vantage Media was also ranked #10 nationally in Deloitte’s "Technology Fast 500."

Vantage Media, a leader in performance-based search engine marketing and online lead generation, announced it has completed a $70 million Series A preferred financing led by Montgomery & Co. Scale Venture Partners, Tudor Ventures and Integral Capital Partners also participated in the round. Vantage Media also announced that it has named Steve Jillings as Chief Executive Officer. Jillings is the former CEO of FrontBridge Technologies, a leading email security company acquired by Microsoft Corporation in August 2005. Jamie Montgomery, CEO of Montgomery & Co., and Rory O'Driscoll, Managing Director with Scale Venture Partners, join the board.
